Shooting Seaside
Seaside has the distinction of being exactly what a seaside community should be. Quaint, "Old Florida/ Key West" homes with wrap around porches over looking gardens of scrub oak and Rosemary , and beach side cottages with unequaled views of the emerald green Gulf of Mexico with it's distinctive sugar white sand, offer an amazing diversity of photographic opportunity. |
A Little History
Modeled after the architectural concept "New Urbanism", Seaside Fl. is the first fully new urbanist town. Founded in 1981 by Robert Davis, Seaside has seen a tremendous growth in popularity, and has even been the site of a major motion picture The Truman Show . Seaside has become a popular family summer get-away by promoting itself as a safe, beach side destination focused on community values.

Stunning Views
of the Gulf of Mexico
There is a good reason why locals refer to this area as the Emerald Coast. Sugar white sands, long beach vistas and warm emerald green water have made the Panhandle of Florida a popular alternative from Miami for photographers and Art directors. Seaside with it's distinctive architecture is one of the finest places on the Gulf Coast to take advantage of these beautiful backdrops and one of the best locations in Florida for print and film production. |
An Idyllic Setting
Outdoor markets, a traditional grocer, charming squares and parks, all intersected by cobblestone streets makes for a truly idyllic setting. Many homes in Seaside have towers called "widows walks" which offer amazing views of the pastel colored homes, surrounding forest and ever-present Gulf of Mexico. Seaside also boasts 9 distinctly different beach walk pavilions which offer a perfect setting for a "beach party/dinner/picnic". |
